Tshehetso Development Projects is committed to making its website accessible and usable for as many people as possible.

2. Accessibility standard

We aim to align our website with recognised web accessibility good practice, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Accessibility Initiative. WCAG is organised around four principles: web content should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.

Our goal is to work towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility as far as reasonably possible within our available resources.

Tshehetso aims to make the website more accessible by:

When publishing content, Tshehetso will aim to ensure that:

• programme information is written in plain, accessible language;

5. Known limitations

While we are working to improve accessibility, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible.

Possible limitations may include:

• some older documents or PDFs may not be fully accessible;

• some images may still need improved alternative text;

• embedded third-party tools, forms, maps or donation platforms may not be fully controlled by Tshehetso;

• some videos may not yet have captions or transcripts;

• some downloadable files may need formatting improvements for screen reader compatibility.

We are committed to improving these areas over time.
