What we do
Tshehetso uses digital inclusion as a pathway to youth opportunity, healthcare access, online safety and human progress.
Our work is built around four connected focus areas.

Digital Inclusion
Digital inclusion is the foundation of our work.
Being digitally included means more than having a phone or internet connection. It means having the skills, confidence, access, affordability and support needed to use digital tools meaningfully.
We help communities move from basic access to practical digital participation.

Youth Empowerment
Young people are at the centre of Tshehetso’s mission.
We support learners, matriculants, school leavers, and unemployed youth in building digital confidence, career readiness, and access to opportunity.
We believe youth development must respond to the realities of the modern world. Young people need digital skills, mentorship, exposure, employability support and guided access to education and work pathways.

Healthcare Access
Healthcare access begins with trusted information.
Many communities struggle to access reliable health information, early screening, referral support and digital health services. Digital exclusion can deepen these barriers, especially as more information and services move online.
Tshehetso helps communities access trusted health information, understand digital health tools and connect with appropriate support.

Cyber Safety
Digital inclusion must be safe.
As more young people and communities use online platforms for learning, work, banking, communication and healthcare, they also face risks such as scams, cyberbullying, identity theft, misinformation, harmful content and privacy violations.
Tshehetso promotes practical cyber safety for everyday life.
