1.1.    By accessing or using Tshehetso’s website, the user agrees to these Terms of Use.
1.2.    A person who does not agree should discontinue use of the website.

2.    Website purpose
2.1.    The website provides information about:
2.1.1.    Tshehetso; 
2.1.2.    its programmes; 
2.1.3.    community activities; 
2.1.4.    partnerships; 
2.1.5.    volunteering; 
2.1.6.    donations; 
2.1.7.    research and educational resources; and 
2.1.8.    ways of contacting the Organisation. 
2.1.9.    Website content is provided primarily for general information.

3.    Permitted use
3.1.    Users may view, download or share publicly available material for personal, educational or non-commercial purposes, provided that:
3.1.1.    the material is not misleadingly altered; 
3.1.2.    Tshehetso is appropriately acknowledged; 
3.1.3.    no confidential information is disclosed; and 
3.1.4.    the material is not used unlawfully. 

4.    Prohibited conduct
4.1.    Users may not:
4.1.1.    attempt unauthorised access to the website or systems; 
4.1.2.    introduce malicious software; 
4.1.3.    interfere with website operation; 
4.1.4.    impersonate another person; 
4.1.5.    submit false or fraudulent donation information; 
4.1.6.    harvest personal information; 
4.1.7.    reproduce protected material commercially without permission; or 
4.1.8.    use the website for unlawful, abusive or discriminatory conduct. 

5.    Intellectual property
5.1.    Unless otherwise stated, website content, branding, programme names, graphics and original publications belong to Tshehetso or are used with permission.
5.2.    No ownership rights are transferred to a user.

6.1.    The website may use or link to:
6.1.1.    payment gateways; 
6.1.2.    social-media platforms; 
6.1.3.    mapping services; 
6.1.4.    analytics services; 
6.1.5.    partner websites; and 
6.1.6.    other external services. 
6.2.    Tshehetso does not control all third-party content, availability, security or privacy practices.

7.    Donations
7.1.    Online donations are governed by the Donation and Refund Policy.
7.2.    A donation does not create membership, governance, ownership or beneficiary rights.

8.    Information and disclaimers
8.1.    Tshehetso will make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current but does not guarantee that all content is error-free or continuously available.
8.2.    Health-related information is intended for education and navigation and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment or emergency medical assistance.

9.    Limitation of liability
9.1.    To the extent permitted by law, Tshehetso will not be responsible for indirect loss arising solely from:

9.3.    third-party websites; 
9.4.    temporary website unavailability; 
9.5.    circumstances beyond its reasonable control; or 
9.6.    unauthorised conduct by external parties. 
9.7.    Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10.    Governing law
10.1.    These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
